    Add any rule?

Oh yeah, I would love to have 5 card charlie. A low count would never look so good.

    Add any rule?

a fun and purely theoretical thread: if you could add any rule to a BJ game to give the player an edge what would it be? Don't say something ridiculous like every losing hand is a push, or all winning hands pay 3:2. I would personally want the option to "triple down" instead of double down.

    Paying/Tipping for penetration

Count = HiLo Previous Pen = 4.5 / 6 Rules = H17, DAS, NS I think a great deal of the benefit will come from the LL side bet, which at a high enough count has a huge Player Advantage.

    Paying/Tipping for penetration

At a 6D table with mediocre rules, and the lucky ladies SB with the good paytable would it be worthwhile paying $5 / shoe for 5/6 Pen while betting 5 - 80? Assume no heat and playing with one other player at the table.

    Scavenger BJ?

Assuming no heat, what is the EV of taking everyone's insurance bets at a full table with everyone betting $10? Let's also say that we only do it when the TC is 1 higher than would typically be required to accept insurance.

    Getting barred intentionally?

Thanks for the responses. I play pretty low stakes (red), unless I dedicate more money to my bankroll between now and my trip, so I doubt getting 'griffened' will be an issue. As for Illinois, thanks for the offer CP but I won't be going east past ND, and the trip isn't until March anyway.

    Getting barred intentionally?

Yeah that's what I was worried about. Do they typically flyer you on the first time you are caught at their casino? How far away do they flyer you? Thanks for the help.

    Getting barred intentionally?

I will be taking a road trip through the Northern / Midwestern states (Michigan, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and Washington) and will no doubt be encountering some bad - but beatable - games that I will never play again. I plan on playing these games using a ridiculous and obvious spread...

    Single Deck Difference?

Why is it that (regardless of whether you count or not) that single deck is so much less advantageous for the house compared to a six-deck game? Same initial composition, so what am I missing that makes single-deck better for the player? Thanks.

    18+ blackjack

Are there any casinos in the US (preferably Northern or Western) where you only have to be 18 to play? Any with good, or even playable, blackjack rules that come to mind? Thanks a lot!

    Wonging risk of ruin?

Thanks a lot. 6 Decks cut off is usually 1.5. i know a couple of dealers who often cut off slightly more than 1. I haven't decided what risk of ruin is acceptable. How much risk do most players here typically accept?

    Wonging risk of ruin?

Would anyone mind calculating my risk of ruin? There is little heat at my local casino but the rules aren't great. I am thinking about becoming good enough to back count 2 tables at once and wong in at counts of 3+. Rules: H17 DAS 1 Card on split aces, no RS No surrender Bankroll =...

    Highest count you've ever seen?

What's the highest running count and true count you've ever seen? How did the hands play out? Personally, +28 with about 1.5 decks left in 6 Deck game. Played 3 more hands before cut card and lost all 3 :flame: Guy next to me got 2 black jacks. Taught me a valuable lesson about...

    Wow. Cover?

Just won $8000 at the slots at my local casino. I have always used a small bankroll to play blackjack and this gives me a perfect opportunity to play with a half decent bankroll. Since it is a small to mid-size casino this was a pretty big deal. Do you think if I spread my bets from min to...
