    Taking insurance at +3> doesn't make sense . . . ?

On average the assumption is right. Sometimes 7,8, and 9 will be under-depleted making the +3 index too low, but sometimes they'll be over-depleted making it unnecessarily high. So yes, there is some "noise", but in the long run it should balance out. Likewise if you placed just 10 bets...

CH actually has the best 6D game in the area. Both LS & RSA. Usually you only get one or the other. And their Spanish game (to which I'm still memorizing basic strategy...) is only 5D if you know how to count Spanish.

what are the good casino in Washington?

Well its not like I asked them how many they were using, but I've never seen a discard pile go that high before....threw my penetration estimates off at first until I realized that I was dealing with a different number of decks haha.

what are the good casino in Washington?

I agree. The only 8D I've seen is Crazy Moose in Mountlake Terrace, but otherwise their rules are good (DAS, LS, RSA) so it's not to penalizing. And the penetration makes up for the extra decks (8D with 1.5 cut off = 81% pen). Unless you're trying to play a black chip units, cardrooms are...

    Drift on Inn

Does anyone have any details about this place? Sometimes I think of going over there when I drop by Club Hollywood, but it always seems to be closed. CBJN doesn't have any details on it either.

what are the good casino in Washington?

Tulalip is not CSM, it is a shoe (6D). As I recall it has the following rules: 6D, H17, DAS, DAT, RS4, no RSA, no HSA, only lose original bet vs BJ, no LS, 3:2. Per the wizard of odds calculator, this results in a house edge of .62% (.64%) when you consider the effect of the cut card. On...

what are the good casino in Washington?

There are a few decent card rooms that I play at. Two in Shoreline, one in Kirkland, and I'm about to start playing in the tournaments up at Red Dragon. Several of the stores are owned by the same group (Washington Gold). From reading CBJN, if there's one casino to avoid, it's Muckleshoot...

No, it's a cardroom in Shoreline and regulated by the WSGC.

Today I went to a store (in Washington State) whose website advertised 2:1 on a suited natural on Sundays and Mondays from 3pm-7pm. I found this particularly appealing, as the particular rule-set at this store results in a house advantage of 0.57%, and the rule reduces the house edge by exactly...

    When should you split 10's?

I appropriately split tens a few weeks ago at my favorite cardroom and the dealer called to the floor person "splitting tens!". (Must be some sort of internal control at this cardroom.) Anyway, I nearly pooped my pants. Fortunately I was there at a time I don't usually come in so the floor...
