No im being serious i live in Forest Lake. The place isn't a true casino it only has tables. because it is not on native american land they had to have so many horse races before they opened it up. but im being serious i have gone there six times since i turned 18 and every time they have gone through all the cards

haha ya they play with the entire 4 decks in front of the cut card. Unfortunantly there are 2 more decks behind the cut card. Running Aces blackjack is the worst in MN.

Edit: There are no 5-500 tables. The five dollar tables have a $100 max.

Also the spammer says there are 8 deck tables, they are 4 and 6 deck.

Why would a card room be spamming on an advantage play website anyway? Very odd indeed.

Shadrock is opening a new business in Broklyn in a few days, maybe he can hire you at his GIG and you can build a bankroll that way, and then maybe after work Shad can teach you about BJ.

You should keep your $90 for a train ride to Broklyn if Shadrock hires you.

That's easy - do not bet at all! You shouldn't be gambling with money that you can't afford to lose, especially when you don't know what you're doing. Giving your money to the casino is not going to improve your situation. You should be spending your time thinking of ways to use that $90 to invest in your future, not how to make a Hail Mary attempt at a lucky score. You would need at least 100 times that much to start counting cards for a living. I'm sure you can find much better opportunities in your life.

A Modified Ten Count is a poor choice for (any) BJ game.

It has a 100% Insurance Coefficient, but the Betting Correlation is very poor,
and the Playing Efficiency (important in double deck and single deck games) is dreadful.

Not understanding these points is a product of not knowing the ELEMENTARY concepts that
you MUST understand to succeed.
As an inexperienced player you need to use something that you can learn to use (virtually) error-free.

I suggest spending extra effort on studying / practicing the FELT COUNT.

You may be too young to be familiar with the timeless chestnut,

"There is no free lunch", but I suggest that you ponder it awhile.

It means that you will not be rewarded with buckets of money after spending a few weeks chatting about blackjack.

If you are unwilling or unable to invest the requisite time and effort in study and practice,
then you need to dispose of whatever fantasy you are entertaining in favor of normal secure employment.

An additional (major) concern will be your non-existent bankroll.

Having a few hundred dollars will not suffice. Neither will a thousand dollars.

Your chances of succeeding with a small bankroll is very nearly nil.

If you study / practice (intensely) for 3 to 6 months, you will be able to "earn" more than "minimum wage"

with a bankroll of several thousand dollars, but the RISK of going broke will be rather high.

Those of us who have succeeded in supporting ourselves for years [solely via BJ]
look unfavorably upon someone starting out playing the (mostly bad) BJ games
that are available to low-stakes players with less than $10,000 in cash.

Without trying to raise too much of a ruckus from JSTAT, let me just mention that on this forum, he is generally not considered a very reliable source when it comes to the validity of counting systems. I won't say that his claims are wrong (although I typically disagree with what he says), but just be cautious when taking his advice (or anyone elses for that matter!) and try to get more verification before actually doing anything. I would hate to see someone fail in their attempts at CC (card counting) because of disinformation.
