1st Vegas trip...

This actually is going to be my second trip to Vegas but the first one I was pretty green having only read The worlds greatest bj book and using hi/opt on any 6 deck $5 game I could find. I actually did pretty good spreading only 1-5 on pretty bad games I came home up $500. Now I have been playing for 2 years at my local casino with a br of $6000 so I still need to stick to $5 units. My wife will be joining me for 2 nights so I want to stay someplace center strip for 2 nights then she will be going home and I will be staying 3 more to concentrate on playing hopefully 10 hours per day. So my question is this where to play on the strip the first 2 nights? After my wife leaves I can stay in any dive off strip or downtown. Any thoughts on where to stay (cheap) for my next 3 nights? Where to play the best 6 Deck games at low stakes? Its really hard for me to get to Vegas so I really want to get the most out of this trip.

BTW- You can buy an American Casino Guide for about $12-15 dollars. In it is several thousand dollars in savings including a coupon for two nites at El Cortez for $30,and a $5 food credit and $5 match play.Lots of match plays and two fer coupons you can use this trip.
 
I've seen it in the gift shops of several casinos,and at the airport,but you can get better deals for it on-line
