8,8 vs 16

I can't believe ive missed the boat on this but there's gotta be a different LS surrender indices on this right? For example the 16 v 9 LS 6D H17 indice is -1 for surrender but since 8,8 split is a better hand than reg 16, is it a different indice for surrender? Also are there any other 8,8 differences from 16?
Thanks for reading :)

I'm pretty rusty with the card counting numbers, but I think this is what I used for HiLo:

16 vs. 10 = Hit at -3 or below, Surrender above -3
8,8 vs. 10 = Surrender at +1 or above, Split otherwise

16 vs. 9 = Hit at -0.5 or below, Surrender above -0.5
8,8 vs. 9 = Surrender at +7 or above, Split otherwise

You might want to check those against Wong's numbers though. It's been a while since I used them.

I am a little bit confused on this one... Almost same rules as above (S17 instead and DAS), I always surrender with 16 against 9 or 10 because below -0.5 I will always have the minimum bet of the table so for me those indices are not important. However, I didn't know that there were surrender indices for 8,8, I am surprised.

I have always split eights as basic strategy states (no matter what dealer card or count I have). This surrender indices for 8,8, are they really a viable play (good move) in the long run?
