A couple of questions...

Hi

Firstly, are there any forms/log books available to buy/download to track BJ play, especially related to tourneys?

Secondly, if someone is trying to develop their own counting system how can you test it over say, 1 billion hands?

Thirdly, how do you find the right forum/thread to post these sorts of messages on :p

Finally, how/do/you avoid the over/use of /?

Cheers

I don't know of any logs available. You would probably have to make one yourself (in Excel or something).

If you want to test a counting system then you will need a good simulator. There are many available such as Cinema Verite, BJ 678, Sage, and others. They vary in price from around $30-$140 and many of them have trial versions available. There is also a free open source simulator from ET Fan, but I would avoid anything that you have to program yourself.

There are also various ways to test a counting system mathematically before you simulate it, like finding it's correlation coefficients (BC, PE, IC).

First point: I'm not sure. I'm not sure exactly what you mean either. Do you mean computer programs or just a basic log for recording history?

Second: You get hold of a sim program. Then go bash your head against a wall for a while. Then you learn or go back to one of the established card counting methods.

Third: the Blackjack-Card Counting section might be a good place to start for Card Conting questions.

Finally: You use a real word. I think the one you are looking for is 'or'.

That would of course be Casino Verite. You'd be looking at CVCX and/or CVData.
