If youre playing a double deck and the 1st 8 cards out, 6 of them are + and 2 nuetral. Would you bet the standard +3 count wager? 3 units for me.

Yeah you could... I normally wouldn't yet. The true count gets better if the amount of the remaining decks are less. So if it's down to like 1 deck with a count of like 6 that's a true count of 6, which is a better chance for you over the dealer.

You are correct that +6 is better than +3 but the post originator is only betting 3X his minimum at this point and +3 is still a nice edge. So at your +6 you max bet but at +3 you definately increase your bet.
