A scouting trip to the other side of my state.

Yes, Good Coast and BY MY were the only two places I was bAcked off. At a Hollywood place, only one pit guy tells dealers to lower the penetration when I play. On other shifts, they don't seem to mind.

I highly doubt this.

There is an old saying "there's no heat....until there is". That seems to be what you are saying, but I think you are mixing up "heat" with "backoffs".

I actually don't subscribe to that old saying, because in my experience, most often there is heat and/or warning signs prior to backoffs. Many times we don't see or recognize them. Anyone in the "shearer" camp, rather than the slaughter or slash and burn camp, who has longevity as a high priority, needs to work on recognizing these warning signs and identifying comfort/tolerance levels BEFORE backoffs occur.

Yes, I know that you Zee, are not in the same boat that I am, where most of my play take place in one location. And that's good. It is best to spread yourself around. I should do more of it, but I just hate to travel. :( Even though you aren't in the same boat as I am, you DO play vegas regularly, so if you don't want to lose this town or a significant number of places, I would work on that recognizing "heat" and comfort zones, PRIOR to backoffs, because backoffs will come if you play here regularly. o_O In vegas there is no such thing as "they don't seem to mind". :(

Vegas is rigged. It's mob run, except now the mob works in corporate rather than in the casinos and they influence the gaming commission to get what they want, which is a lack of transparency. After the shooting, good luck winning, it's cold decks all around town. 10's, aces, and 9s are all missing and replaced with 4s, 5s, and 6's. They refuse to show you any of the cards. They claim all the cards are in there because the ASMs can sort by denomination and would tell them if a card was missing. Of course that is ridiculously false. These ASMs can only tell you how many TOTAL cards are in there, not whether a PARTICULAR card is missing. They order pre shuffled cards from some unregulated factory in totalitarian China and the gaming commission NEVER inspects it(I've confirmed over the phone with gaming already), the pit bosses NEVER inspect it, the dealers NEVER inspect it, NO ONE INSPECTS IT. They just simply get the pack, check the back of the cards for marks or defects and throw it into the crooked ASM and call it a day. It's honestly unbelievable how I'm the only one frustrated by this and asks questions about this suspicious practice. It really says a lot about our pathetic brainwashed sheep based society. I dont know why I ever even moved here. I cant even go to California cause it's all Indian reservations. These crooked, corrupt Indian casinos are regulated by its own tribe LOL. It's actually unbelievable all of this. The only solution to all of this is to start playing exclusively double deck games since they do show the cards face up before play at the start of the day.

Here we go again,Zenking if they are adding extra 4s,5s,or 6s,how come you just can't watch and when you see 7 ,6 of hearts in a 6 deck shoe then you have proof, but no all you have is your whining rants with no proof.

Yeah go ahead and tell me the last time all 24 or all 32 of a certain denomination has come out before the cut card. Ill wait.

What I do know is this. It's not a short pack, its a complete shoe with the number of total cards in there to complete the scam. The scam is that these 10s, aces, and 9s are all being REPLACED by 4s, 5s, and 6s to complete the TOTAL. This then allows to trick the pit bosses and dealers when they do in fact count the number of cards to see if there is the 312 total for 6 deck and 416 total for 8 deck. Because it is pre-shuffled as well, these pit bosses when doing their total count check are instructed to just inspect the back of the cards while doing the count.

It is hard to not just laugh at you for how ridiculous you sound. I have read your back and forth for months now at Wov. When you are down, spouting the same complete nonsense you just posted here and a week later when you win a it, you proclaim "you are the greatest counter in the world". What that tells me is that you are ill-prepared to handle the swings involved with professional card counting. To be successful a professional level card counter has to be able to control his emotions. You haven't demonstrated your ability to do that on the forums, and I suspect similarly at the tables. I don't know if that is something you can learn or not, but right now, you are lacking that necessary ability.

Now that said, I happen to agree with some of your thoughts. The first time I encountered a casino using pre-shuffled cards, I immediately didn't like it. The casino industry is sort of based on integrity...on the customer feeling like he is getting a fair game. Those procedures were put in for a reason, to be as transparent in an attempt to preserve integrity. Cutting corners compromises that integrity is a horrible decision. It cuts at the core of the casino-customer relationship.

I also take the unpopular position that I am skeptical of at least one casino's ASM. I think I have mentioned this before. At one local type casino on Boulder highway my lifetime results are horrible, based on a pretty significant amount of play. As a matter off fact it is the only casino in Las vegas that I am in the red lifetime and it's a pretty strong Ev, DD game. I have witnessed the pit punch codes into the ASM and then I almost always lose. :( It's probably irrational on my part, but as long as I feel this way, I no longer play this store. There are just too many games available to play one that I am uncomfortable with, no matter what the reason.

But, to think the entire city, is rigged on weeks that you lose and you are the greatest thing since sliced bread, on the weeks that you win, is really bizarre and makes it hard to take anything you say seriously.

First off, if you actually read my posts on WOV, you would read that I was just poking fun because I was finally winning and not because I was the greatest ever. Secondly, I cant handle the swings and I cant control my emotions? Why hasn't that seeped into my betting and why am I not in the red overall after all my playing time? How can that be? Isn't someone who cant control their emotions at the tables supposed to tilt and lose money? Wow, I must be the first player ever to tilt at a table and not ONCE ever let it affect how he plays in proportion to his advantage and bankroll. That's actually remarkable. 38k with a top bet from 2x150 to 2x250 depending on bankroll at the time after 1000 hours playing shoe games and I cant handle my emotions? Damn maybe I am the best thing since sliced bread.

What all of you continue to fail to understand, is I dont give a f*** about the swings in this game, I've been through them time and time again, but what angers me is the LACK OF TRANSPARENCY and to know if Im losing to a fair game or to some crooked mob run dirty corrupt game. I'm not willing to try and find out until Im 3 SD down and have my bankroll ruined.

You DON'T need to wait until u count more than 24 of a particular rank, you just look for more than 6 of a rank and suit. For someone who is the King this should be easy.

I was present when a guy came to our table, took the 6 decks out of the ASM, took 3 cards and placed them face down, put gthe rest in the ASM/ A few minutes later, the red light came on. He looked at the window, read the cards missing, flipped the 3 cards up and sure enough they were the missing cards he had read. He then said "this one works", went on to inspect at the next table. So, yes the ASM can track cards.

In many places here in the Midwest, owned by the same corporations as in Las Vegas, they bring new cards in, spread them out and the dealer goes through them. If you are at the table, you can watch them do it. No cards are missing.

Now, I do believe the ASM's can be programmed to clump cards and that they can be set at anytime. In some cases, I suspect they do it but not all the time.

Like you, I play DD because I have more consistent success playing those.
