Any 6 Deck specialty players out there?

Hey dudes/women!

So far the only type of game I have played is the 6 deck shoe (Oklahoma casinos) and I was looking for feedback on how some of the experts/experienced players look to handle this type of game. I currently use TKO by Daniel Dravot, and has been somewhat of a stressful situation for me. Recently, over the weekend I went to WinStar in Oklahoma to play. During weekends this place is crowded with a ton of ploppies who, most of the time, eat up the good cards in hot shoes. Unfortunately I don't have the BR to support a full playing session, which therefore results in having to wong-in and wong-out of tables. This is somewhat of a problem for me because there aren't always seats open, and I have to graciously ask a player if I can bet along with them. Often the shoe will never become worthy enough to play, so I will have to relocate to another table while having already waisted 20-30 mins seeing if the last shoe was playable. I might linger over to another table sometimes and the same will happen. I would love to hear some shed of enlightenment on these issues, how to solve them, any extra information, or strategic plays to help improve being more active on the floor.

(Also, I am looking for (a) person/people near the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or WinStar area to meet up at some point and team up! Message me.)

Do those OK games have a comission? If so they're worthless.

If you don't have the bankroll, and you can't wong, you can't play. You'll need to get more capital, or travel to a location with more games. Arizona? Vegas? Mississippi? I don't know...

One option

My homebase is Oklahoma, but as the others mention, don't pay antes. I only play in Oklahoma where I can find a no ante promotion.

While wonging in may be difficult if all the tables are full, one option once you get to a table is to wong out without leaving the table. Most casinos seem tolerant if you sit out at some point in the shoe and wait for the next shuffle. You don't actually have to leave the table. Just say you are out for a bit. Most don't press the issue, but if they do just say this shoe sucks or something. Or you could choose to leave the table, but leave your chips there and let the dealer know you will be returning. Use a restroom break, phone call or a a fresh drink as an excuse. Between the two, I think you can remain at the table quite some time without playing in very many negative counts. Somewhat awkward as with any wonging, but very doable.

This has worked well for me.
