almost all of the tables at my local casinos have auto shuffle blackjack or 8 deck shoes that go into a shufflemaster. any advice as to what is the best systems if any to study so i can crack these games?

well i guess im just looking for what would be a nominal system to use against the "auto-shoe".

ive been playing BJ for about 8 years now and i love it but i feel like i need to put some more math behind it. im just starting to read all of the resources here on the board and getting the lingo down.

if someone wants to bash the newb here at fully explain what:

wonging in is? (seems like its when you come in the count is high)

just sounds funny. i need a decent counting system. im willing to study it and i have decent mental math any help is appreciated

First we need to determine if those "auto-shufflers" you are speaking of are true CSMs or just shuffling machines. zg

I'm going to assume u mean the machines that shuffle the cards while u play as opposed to the CSM's.

In which case it's just a normal, incredbly crappy, 8D game.

You have wonging right - named after a guy named Wong - maybe that's why it sounds funny lol. Actually I think Wong was a pseudonym anyway.

More important than the actual counting is how u play how much and when and how much u are willing to lose doing it.

Give that alot of thought.

After u learn the counting part.

The counting part is the easy part.

thanks for the tip. i think the second answer was right as the auto shoes we have just keep shuffling cards. i did my own searching last night and found a pretty easy guide to learning hi/lo and i have been spinning through 1 and 2 decks and then doing pairs trying to get the count down without mouthing it or looking like im counting. harder than it looks but i can see that i will be able to master this over time.

the betting systems are a little complicated but with good bs and some counting i think i can get enough of an edge.

any set rules on how i should go about pressing my bets when the count goes to say +4 +8 +12

thanks for the help
