Anyone having The Rivers Players' club card (pittsburgh)?

I have a question regarding the Edge card (Rivers' players' club card). I know there are three levels (1 red, 2 blue, 3 black). My question is how many points do I have to reach blue and black level.

The second question has no definite answer. Just want your opinion. Normally I don't hand my players' card to pit boss when playing Blackjack. But I want to do a test. So I had two sessions at $25 BJ tables. Because I was rated, I only spread $25 to $200. The first one lasted one to two hours and the second one lasted more than four hours. I found out the pit boss only added 100 points to my card. I get 100 points from playing slot machines for 5 minutes. Do you think I have already been marked a counter at this casino (so soon, they began to offer table games for 3 weeks)?

If you're after strictly points, you should probably play the Virtual blackjack machines. They give out points at a decent rate. The rivers doesn't hardly give ANY points for table play. Rivers is pretty stingy on their comp system to start with. They do send nice promo mailers if you play enough.

If you play a 5cent slot machine, you will rack up points faster than playing $25 a hand playing tables, regardless of what table game you play. This isnt an opinion, this is a fact I got from a friend of mine who worked at a casino in New Jersey.

I know. I played $25 table minimal BJ for 6 hours and got less than 300 points. And I got 7,500 points for playing $1 slot machines for 40 minutes. The question is if I got enough points for a blue card.

Sorry that i have no idea, usally they tell you online if you register it there if you have gone up to the next bracket. I stopped with players cards all together because it's easier to keep track of my play and i'd rather play longer than get the comps and get cut out early.

I have a story on my playing virtual blackjack machines.

I just paid my first extortion fee last night. I was playing virtual blackjack machine alone because they are all abandoned since PA launched the table games. I have to track three counts so sometimes I called the two counts out loud besides using a coin to track ace side count (normally I can use a chip at the table). The other two counts are running count and the number of remaining decks (key success to the virtual BJ and don't ask me the secret ingredients because I won't tell). Then this guy came and sat beside me watching me play. He started asking questions about the coin then my plays. I gave me some short answers whenever possible not to interrupt my counting. Finally I told him I have to concentrate on my counting and can't answer more questions. The guy watched me play for almost three hours. After playing 4 hours, I cashed out and went to the cage. The guy followed me. After I got my cash, the guy came to me and said he knows I am a counter. He will tell the casino that the one thousand dollars I just made are from counting. If I don't want him to make a scene, he wants $50. I hesitated and can't believe this is happening. So he said it will be just a loan because he lost all his money earlier today. If he made some of his money back, he will pay me $50 back. I just hate this virtual blackjack machine because it displayed how much I earned and anybody could see! Anyway it is just 5% of my winning, so I gave him $50 and flee out of the casino. Maybe he is the kind of guys who kiss and tell!

That is, the casino already knows if you're counting, because the machine software is surely maintaining the count -- every possible known count -- internally and analyzing those counts against your betting pattern. The count shifts in the player's favor, the player's bet goes up, hey waddayaknow he's a counter.

Sorry to say, I think you got suckered by an operator. The better response would have been to report him to security as an extortionist. Fortunately you didn't lose much in the process.

I just recently rekindle my love of playing BJ since I moved from NJ to PA 10 years ago. So I am kind of relearning everything. It is the poor judgment of mine. I thought he was someone harmless, bored to death after he lost all his money and stranded here waiting for his bus. Luckily when he asked, I gave him my alias name, occupation as well as where I live. I told him I am just a tourist taking my little brother to a local school. Hopefully I don't see him in the future and he knows I was lying. Then that would be awful.

It is quite beatable since the penetration is always 66.7% (4 decks out of 6 decks) and without pit boss supervision, you can spread 100 to 1 with no sweat, especially when you play alone. People in LV have taken millions of dollars in one week since the shuffle point has been discovered. Unfortunately in west coast, most machines have emergency firmware patch since, now they only allow five to one spread. I am lucky to find the machines that still allows 100 to 1 spread (old firmware).

It is never shuffle after every hand from the beginning. Otherwise, you will never see waves of big cards or small cards. The machine is clearly marked 6 decks Blackjack. But to compensate the poor 66% penetration and H17 rule, you have to spread more than 20 to 1 to win.

Well, the PA machines always stated shuffle after every hand. That's why I was wondering if they changed it.
