Backcounting and Wonging in

I just successfully backcounted and Wonged in on the second half of a shoe for the first time ever, winning a little money. I don't know why I've never done it before, but I liked it! It was a nice feeling knowing I was playing almost the whole remainder of the shoe with an advantage. But I wouldn't have been able to do it if it weren't for a lady leaving in the middle of the shoe.

Is it OK to do this at a casino you go to regularly? Do pit bosses get suspicious when you hover over a table just watching, and then jump into a seat and start playing part way through a shoe, only to leave at the end of the shoe?

I tried wonging in once, It seemed to obvious after back counting 3 shoes without an opportunity. I decided to use wonging out and it worked great. I just wong out now. No need to kill the great games.

I do it all the time, nobody cares. Just make sure you jump in at a time when other players hqve lost a few hands in a row so they wont complain.

No no no! If you have the advantage, play! Don't even think about anybody else, just have your profit in mind.

Wonging in doesn't work well for me in small places or at non-busy times. I pick a larger place at a busy time (Friday and Saturday nights), when many tables are open. In fact some of the places I play are near major sports venues. I go after games dressed in team colors. Most of the patrons are younger and have been drinking (mostly not drunk; just happy). Wandering around the floor attracts no attention.

wonging

There's nothing like back counting a full table and jumping in as a defeated player leaves during positive counts.

Many of my most profitiable sessions start when the dealer clears the table with a six card 21 mid shoe and the count has progressed way past the optimal wong-in point.

When I jump in during the middle people get very offended but sometimes i do it anyway. I was wondering can you beat a two deck game playing negative counts?

Of course you can. If your spread is high enough, you can beat any game, let alone a double deck!

the spread is 8 units max. No double after split, double any two, good penetration, H17 0-4 players or would you rather play a crowded 4-7 players 5-200 table same rule 6 deck?

No double after split is a terrible rule. My guess is that you have to spread 16 to 1 to overcome that.
