Bad Streaks

This thread made me feel a little bit better. Today I had my fifth consecutive losing session. It all started with a delayed flight out of Vegas, and I ended up playing an extra hour and a half, and it started downhill in that extra 90 minutes. The depressing part is in the last 4 sessions, I found myself behind after the first 3-4 hands. Basically never ahead at any point for the last 4 casino trips. But today was so bad, it made me gun shy to spread my bet. I've lost 70 units the past 2 outings, but it easily could've been 200 units. The 4th losing day was a bit more understandable; I figured I won close to 50% of the hands and got blackjacks around 4-5% of the time. The problem was when I did spread in the positive counts, I lost most of them. Today, I bet I lost at least 70% of my hands and probably 75% of the double downs. I don't like raising my bet off a loss, so at least it kept the damage lower than it could've been. Too bad we can't get a printout from the casino to see our performance in hands won, in blackjack % and double down conversions. Variance or not, losing sucks.
