We all know how crucial bankroll management is in the long run, especially when facing the inevitable ups and downs of blackjack. I'm wondering how the community here approaches this. Do you follow a strict percentage-based system, or do you adjust your bets based on your confidence level or table conditions? I'd love to hear some real-world experiences and strategies that have worked for you!

Most serious players use simulation software like CVCX to analyse the game and generate a betting ramp based on the size of their bankroll and their risk tolerance. The resulting ramp is based on betting some fraction of the optimal risk adjusted bets according to the Kelly Criterion. This all assumes that you are counting cards.

For other forms of advantage play, the Kelly Criterion would also be appropriate for risk adjusted betting.

If you're not engaged in some form of advantage play, no amount of money management will save you in the long run. Just don't bet more than you can afford to lose on a given day.
