Banned

I am banned from I'd say about 50 casinos at this point... I don't mean backed off.. I MEAN BANNED. I've actually gotten letters telling me I am not allowed anywhere on their property.. as it is PRIVATE PROPERTY. Some have told me I will be arrested if I try to enter.. as it is again.. PRIVATE PROPERTY!

I am taking a year off from playing cards now since things got too intense (and the stock market killed a lot of my net worth so my BR is going to be used to recover from that mess.)

I don't count cards but if I were to use a progression system that causes me to bet $100, $200 up to $500 or even $1000 AND I'm winning big with it, will I be banned from land-based casinos? I'm surprised that a casino would ban you just because you went from $10 to $100 in your betting, which I do all the time in online casinos. (Please, it is not my intention to discuss the merits/demerits of progression systems.)

It’s very unlikely that you would be banned for using a progression system. Unless they think that you are doing something else they will let you play for as long as you want. If anything, they will try to keep you gambling as long as they can in order to get their money back.

Progression systems

I have been using a progression system for over 25 years.
From a basic bet of two green chips my bets frequently reach $1000.00 and even as high as 2000.00.
I have have never been questioned by any casino. They welcome me with open arms any great comps.

Casinos can be quite different from each other. Many of us know of intances where a non counting, progression type player was backed off of a blackjack game. It does not happen in casinos where the house knows what they are doing and the decision makers have confidence but it does happen in casinos where management does not understand the game, pits are scared of winners and the casino is famous for sweating every buck.

So play your progression system in a joint where they can handle your $1,000 bet and you will probably find yourself very popular and well comped. Do the same thing at some of the known sweaty joints and you may be backed off.

Nice to see a post from you Preston, after a long absence. Are you still working where we met last May?
Yes. Tried to seek other employment but nothing went anywhere so I'm toughing it out for now....
