Unfortunately I won't be attending this years bash. For all of those that are, good luck, I wish I could bet there and I hope everything goes a bit smoother than last year.

I will be nixing my Guadalupe River plans next year to attend the bash.
Let's see...scraping my ass on a drought stricken river -bottom, water is 50 degrees and it's 98 degrees, sunburn, possibly hung-over, surrounded by young people who's music I don't care to recognize, and all the young dudes want to f**k, pose or fight or...
Meet some very interesting Blackjack aficionados, meet new friends, learn a lot about BJ, soak up some air-conditioning, etc...... hmmm
At least the young gals will look good in their bikinis and the steak, sausage, chik'n etc. will be good.

Normally the casinos are busy on Friday nights. I guess Fri. 13th kept people away, but the playing conditions were great. (Not bash related)
