Basic Strategy Question

#1
Hi All,

I am new to BJ and I am using flash cards to learn BS. I am currently learning a composite basic strategy assuming DAS and double any two cards. However, my question is this. I notice that there are slight variations in BS if DAS is not allowed or if you can't double on soft hands. I feel like I am developing automatic responses for the DAS and doubling on any two cards. Do I then switch to learning flash cards for no DAS and no doubling on soft hands? I feel like it would undo all the work I am currently doing. Should I just plan on avoiding tables that don't offer DAS? Or do people find, that once trained it is not an issue to switch between the two? I suppose the same question applies to learning deviations later on down the road.

If you play the inferior games, which you shouldn't, it's all the more important to play the right BS for those games, lest you give up even more e.v. with the mistakes that you'll make.
