Best counting method for 6-deck shoes

I've been to casinos several times now. I use high-low with the illustrious 18 and some advanced indexes. I am okay with this, but I'm willing to learn a more complex system for counting 6 deck shoes. What is the overal best counting method? I go the site with the counting advisor, and it gives me a list. Do you think Revere Point Count is worth the extra effort?

i couldn't agree more. I am definately one of the ones who feels it is not worth it. After 3 years of using hi-lo and playing mostly shoe games, I switched to RPC in spring of 2007. Now 1900 hours of playing later I have realized that my win rate is within pennies of what it was with hi-lo. I am in the process of deciding whether to switch back to hi-lo, which for me was less taxing, enabling me to observe other things happening around me better.

My opinion, hi-lo with Ill 18 (or a few more if you wish) is more than adequate for shoe games unless you are a high stakes player player many many hours a year.

If your missing out on other opportunties to profit then you'll properly find your actual win rate is less. It might be wise to free up some of those brain cells so you can also focus on other ways to profit other than just counting.
