Best Game in Detroit?

Well, here's an update:
I started out at Greektown, where I noticed the CSMs right after I cashed in. I proceeded to immediately cash back out. I'm sure they loved me.
I then went to MGM Grand. All tables are 8 deck, except for the $50 min. tables, which are 6. No surrender, H17, No resplit of aces, Double any, Split any. Auto shufflers, but only after completion of a shoe. Penetration was consistently about 75-80%. Dealers were spotty. One failed to catch a perfect pair. Another counted her 19 as a 21!
More importantly, this was my first attempt at counting, and it was FAILED. The good news, is that speed wasn't an issue at all. I was not ever running behind. The problem was that I was able to be distracted from my count early into each shoe. Once it was gone, it was gone.
On the bright side, I played perfect basic strategy, and came out $60 ahead on the day. Not a big haul, but a good experience.
Tomorrow is actually a work day, but if I have time, I'll check out Motor City Casino.

That game is unplayable unless you're back-counting. Even then it's total dogshit, but at least you'll be able to grind a unit an hour out of it.
You should have looked at the high limit are at Greek Town (Paretheon Room) they have $25 dollar 6 deck games (NOT CSM ) depending on crowd and time of day. As for Motor City don,t waste your time not unless you want to play a $100 min for 6 decks.
Since when are $50 6 deck H17 and no RSA ? They are S17 and RSA. I was their just last week. Are you sure you where even at the MGM ? At least you got something right.

I didn't ask what the rules were at the 6 deck game because I didn't play it. What I listed were the rules for the 8 deck $10 game that I played. They were most definitely H17, and while I didn't have the opportunity to resplit aces, this is what I was told by the dealer.

Again, for the 3rd time I was playing low minimums, and again, the $15 tables at Greektown are CSMs...

Casino Windsor is right next door and has 6 decks in the High Limit room with DAS, DA2, RSA, and like 75-80% pen

So does the MGM and Greek Town casinos $50 Min same as Windsor. One bad thing about going across the bridge or the tunnel is the exchange rate. Money is about on par with the dollar but by the time you exchange you money into Canadian you lose anywhere from 1 to 4% on the transcation. If you cash $5,000 at 2% you lose a 100 to start. At the end you have to recash back to American money another 2%. Lets say you win $5,000 that's $10,000 to cash at 2% that's $200 dollars for a total of $300 in money transcations for the privilege of playing in Canada. No thanks. Figure that cost into your bankroll !
