I know that their is a thread blow with the same title but it doesn't really ask the same question as mine. What is a spreed that will yeild the maximum amount of EV without regard to being thrown out of the casino or heat or anything, but getting the money.

Bet the table max when you have the advantage. Do not bet when you are at a disadvantage. That will give you the highest EV. That does not take into account heat, risk, bankroll growth or any other factors.

Technically, any flat bet whenever you have the advantage will have the same EV (whether it's table min or table max) because EV is normalized to the amount bet. You can actually increase your EV by ramping your bets, but it will lower your win rate.

Theoretically, your highest EV will come from waiting until a +infinity true count, and then putting down table max. But your win rate will approach zero.

Edit: the highest possible Hi-Lo true count, I believe, should be +52. This would correspond to the probability that not a single ten or ace gets played until the very end, so you end up with a RC of +5*Decks with (5*Decks)/52 decks remaining.

Edit #2: At a true count of +52, your edge is about +9.4 (you can expect to nonuple your money on average) assuming infinite resplits. Basic strategy is to hold on all blackjacks and split any pairs. Always take insurance.

Good catch! I was thinking win rate instead of EV. I'm glad you caught that.

Let me try to reword this. What is the best all around spread disregarding getting kicked out only?

If you have a unlimited bankroll: table minimum to table max if you're playing all; $0 to table max if you're Wonging.

If you have a limited bankroll: table minimum to Kelly fraction if you're playing all; $0 to Kelly fraction if you're Wonging.

Adjusting for risk, it's

Bet proportional to the count in all plus counts

Do not bet in neutral or minus counts.

In Blackjack Attack, it's called "Mr Perfect".

LOL--they're having fun with you because it's such a vague question. I say that when you are in NJ or any place where you don't intend to play for any near future, bet as much as your bankroll can afford. The Kelly Criterion can help you get rough estimate but it's still a very subjective concept. You have to "test the waters". Experiment! Run a some simulations or study Bj. Attack and other books to get a rough idea of what your bankroll can handle. Then see what your heartrate can handle. Then see what casino personnel will tolerate. Trial and error--hopefully not too much of the latter.
