Generic info about the area:
1) Is table max 100everywhere?
2) Is there any cashout limit to avoid id-hassle?
3) Does dealer keeps their tokes?
4) What's the ideal dealing time? :
1hour main, 20min relief or rubberband: 1hour/20min each?

Last time I played at blackhawk was a little under a year ago. But i can answer most of these questions.

1. State law prohibits having a bet higher than $100.
2. I have cashed out with $2500 at Marti-Graw and The Lodge numerous times without an issue.
3. Dealers pool tokes
4. I'm pretty sure its 1h/20m but could be wrong.

Are you certain about (4). Two other members on this board who claims to be local says it's 20min volleyball..

Either way I've a long layover at denver, so will check the place myself..

Black Hawk dealer rotation

I have not played all the Black Hawk casinos, but my experience is that dealers move on after 20 minutes.

Weekend evenings - Friday and Saturday - are a zoo; most other times, not so much.

A weird consequence of the $100 max bet limit is that 6-deck tables in more popular joints may have $15 minimums, capping your spread at 6.66:1. :laugh:

This inspired my first backcounting adventures, which occurred at a time of needless paranoia on my part: I now think that spreading to two hands in such situations, and at such stakes, is a smarter choice.

No word on whether the $100 ceiling will ever rise. It would be nice to bet $100 on a hand without feeling like the high roller at the table.
