anyone see this in ac... i sat down on a true count of 7.... just to find out that they removed numerical tens..... what a let down that was

You should always check the rules before jumping in and playing.

Do you mean Double Attack Blackjack? It also pays 1:1 for a natural. Despite this, it is quite beatable and with the correct basic strategy for the game the house edge is actually less than for standard BJ in AC. Same for Spanish 21. But I would recommend leaving these games to the experts and earning your stripes in the standard game.

Most of the people who play double attack don't take advantage of any of its advantages. During a high positive count the dealer draws a 6. Nobody doubles their bet. Seems like that would be a key time to hit hard.

He's got a good point. You're going to find blackjack tables everyone.

Personally, I haven't even seen a double attack table. You're probably best off working at things that you're most likely to use, first.

Also, Monkey is a big freak, and has spare brainpower to learn strategies and counts for Spanish 21, blackjack switch, side games, etc. While the common working man has to more carefully plan what they study and work on.

I'm just being straightforward.

You have made a number of posts on here with questions that are easily answered by either a dealer, a book, or in some cases, a basic strategy chart. If you're having to ask a ton of questions about regular blackjack don't try to switch games while you're on the learning curve.

It's like trying to be the best poker player -- you start learning Texas Hold'em and then you see an Omaha game.. how different can it be? There is a big difference between hold'em and Omaha strategy despite the games mechanics being nearly identical.

Learn blackjack first. To a T, then move onto the carnival games of Spanish 21 (which I actually enjoy more than blackjack at times) or Double Attack.

I'm on Full tilt, but I don't play cash there anymore. There is way too much red tape to go through to handle the financial transfers.

Don't take what I say personally, but if you are going to learn a game them learn a game, don't try to do everything at once...

and I think I've played you before anyway...

Go to the Paris and play with the big boys. Or to the Venetian, Cesars. Its a few grand to buy in but if you got game. No problem.

Well it has the crappy rules of 1:1 for naturals and they use the "Spanish Pack" with the pip 10's missing.

What you get in return is double or surrender on any number of cards, double down rescue... and... you see the dealer's up card before you get your cards and you have the option of doubling your bet. The player has a significant advantage on dealer upcards 3-8 and an insignificant advantage on dealer upcard 2. But the first card out of the shoe for every hand is the dealer's upcard.

This game is only dealt in a few places in AC. House edge with the correct BS is 0.3-0.4%.
