Blackjack rule??

Although a casino is not prohibited from paying any player's 2-card 21 as a natural blackjack (3:2 or 6:5 heaven forbid), I have only come across that windfall benefit when playing in a tournament.

The simple solution, read the rules on the table before playing, or just simply ask your dealer or pit critter.

Blackjack is defined as your first two cards totaling 21. Once you split aces, you get a third card, so it's not a BJ.

Usually the blackjack payout is only if you get a blackjack with your first two cards. After you split, it's no longer considered your first two cards. Some places may pay it like a blackjack, but I've yet to find one. Usually they just pay it like a normal hand totaling 21.
