My casino buddy is quite enthralled by this game, as another of our friends has won a ton at it down at the taj. It does look interesting but Im a bit skeptical on it, and was wondering the opinion of it on here. Say all the bj tables were full, would it be worth it to sit down at one of these tables?

if you sit n play for fun, go for it, but as i see it, there is a house edge that can't be beat because the deck is shuffled every hand.

it is a fun game though. and if you enjoy playing a carny game, that's not a sin, just make sure you don't waste your BJ bankroll on it =)

ill play the game when my gf comes to the casino with me. its cheap cover too.

Just make sure you know the proper basic strategy. Even small mistakes can be very costly in games like that. And be prepared for some pretty fast and furious swings.

Can it be beaten if you look at all the other player's hole cards preflop? In regular poker collusion of 6 players vs 1 player would be successful all the time unless the victim keeps getting monster hands.

i dont think that the collusion model is applicable.

The dealer will not fold to 'raises'
you place your bets beforehand.
6 player collusion does nothing when all 6 players have to place bets, and each needs to beat the dealer in order to get paid.

knowing what's out there does reduce uncertainty: seeing 3 queens out +1 on flop reduces chance to zero that dealer has queen. seeing 3 clubs on board + 10 clubs in friend's hands reduces chance to zero that dealer has flush.

you can use those information nuggets to your advantage, but i really do think that this game is just gambling.

Folding hands preflop because other players have the outs you need could also be an advantage. For example you have King-5 and 2 other players have a king. It's beneficial to fold preflop since there would only be 1 out. Also calculating whether to bet a straight or flush draw based on if you see your outs in other player's hands. If you see 14 cards out of the deck that's a lot of information preflop.
