Ok I have

Color of BJ THE MAN DRAVOT

what else do I need/want to read? I'm looking for stuff to add or compound to counting as well as other APing. I am an aspiring HC'er (sans the luxury or THE BOOK) lol but seriously what way should I sway... sequencing, steering, tracking, cutting? I'm looking for books be it in there infancy or not that are.... hey Sev~ you should check this out. Any thoughts..... Sonny, ZG, NS, RGT, SP, and any of you BAMFo's I've missed???? Just looking for an arrow in the right direction. Bout to buy some CV stuff just looking for some literature to get me going in the right direction as to not come home and say honey that bank roll for BJ I had...... well it's gone now lol. Any help is mucho greatly appreciated.

I would suggest Blackjack Attack to round out your card counting education. It will give you some good insight into different betting strategies, fluctuation, risk, game selection, etc. The books that you have read cover most of what you need to know, but this book will fill in a few gaps. Other books like Cellini's surveilance guide or Nersesian's Beat the Players might come in handy as well.

In my opinion, all of it. You should study them all and learn the basics of every technique you can find. You don't have to become an expert at any of them, but understand how they work, when they work and when they don't work. That way you'll be able to recognize opportunities to use them when you find them. Once you find a good opportunity you can study the technique in depth and work out a strategy for the specific opportunity you have found. Being able to recognize opportunities is much more important than having the skill to play them in my opinion. The skills can always be learned, but if you can't find the games then you won't get the money.

I would certainly agree with all those books suggested. Also, there is a little book that is not usually mentioned in this type of discussion, "The Blackjack Zone" by Eliot Jacobson. It is a fun read, and touches on some points not mentioned in the other books.

The Blackjack Zone is great for helping you forget everything you think you know about BJ. If you've been playing the game for years, its pretty certain you have a lot of bad habits this book will cure you of.

Any love for Forte's Casino Game Protection? The majority is not about BJ, of course, and there's a lot in there that you'd never even want to think of trying, but I found the BJ card counting and AP sections pretty damn interesting.

Don't forget Burning The Tables by Andersen. What he explains concerning pen is worth many times the price of the book. Also he writes about the best act he ever saw-fantastic and very funny!:joker::laugh:

I'm surprised to see little mention of two of the absolute best beginner BJ books, in my opinion:

Blackbelt in Blackjack by Arnold Snyder, and
Blackjack Blueprint by Rick Blaine

As for other types of advanced plays, you already know which book has the info you want, it's just a matter of whether or not you think it's worth acquiring.

I would also suggest Blackjack Essays by Malmuth - a very good read.
For serious play (depending on where...) Zender's How to detect cheating at Blackjack is worthwhile.

Whats in the mail

Ok first off thank yall soooo much for all the input! I've gone over Sunny's "all of it" link a hundred times now lol. Thank you Flash for the ebook links :) so far I've got BJ Autumn, BJ Ace Prediction by McDowell, Malmuth's essays, BJ Attack, and if lord admin sees fit Zenders Advantage play for the casino exec by zender in the mail. I was able to find Jacobsons BJ Zone linked on here and his website for free (mighty nice of the man) Anderson's burnining and Black Belt by Snyder are on the wish list with the next round as well as Mr. Rubin's comp city. Did I miss anybody? Oh and my next question was has anybody read any of Norm's books I know version II has some TKO stuff in it. Is it worth the buy lol i'm about to donate to his cause for CVCX and CVBJ just wanna know if its worth the buy or the free one will cover my curiosities. Thanks again for all the help.

Oh ya forgot my last little comments 1) Blaines book was awesome and easy to read, borrowed BJBB II from a friend and knocked it out, and as for the other book well all things come to he who waits lol. thanks again everyone.
