Buying other player's insurance at high counts

Let's say the TC is +10 and the dealer has an ace showing. Obviously it's profitable to take insurance, and the EV is very high with a +10 count. Has anyone ever taken insurance for other players who don't want to insure their own hand, keeping the profits?

My reasoning for that is if the EV for insurance is high at the +10 count, why not maximize your advantage?

With a name like tensplitter, you don't care about heat. Therefore there is no reason not to

But seriously this would generate a ton of heat, they will be wondering why you want to buy all these insurance bets, especially "never take insurance" is one basic strategy play more ploppies seem to remember.

Also some players might be none too happy to see all of their bet go to you.

That would be a fine bet, to get escorted off the property. Though it may make statistical sense, this is one of those "this guy has to be counting to ask/do this".
