Calculating House Edge

Using optimized basic strategy with these rules:
Splitting up to 4 hands. Double after split allowed. Late surrender allowed. Dealer Stays on S17. Can double on any 2 cards. Draws 1 card only after splitting aces. Blackjack pays 3:2.

Using 6 decks the house edge is supposedly about 0.35%.
Where does this percent come from? My results are showing much lower then this.

how about ev = -0.40 ? not sure about the term optimized basic strategy means.
maybe this table (from bjmath.com) will help if you have excel
edit: ahhh, note: late surrender is missing in my table. apparently late surrender is worth circa ev = 0.06 or 0.08 or so in the players favor, so ev circa -0.34 or circa -0.32 ?
early surrender a long lost blast from the past would make the house edge way lower

Thanks for your response.
Someone informed me that I should be using the Initial Wager in the calculation. That cleared it up for me. I'm getting accurate results now. TY

yep, the complexity behind basic strategy is truly mind boggling, imho
for instance, basic strategy = optimal basic strategy, lol.
there is a pdf from back in 1956 when some really talented bean counters tried to explain it.

just a small compilation of the effects of rules, is complex enough:

then if we look at just one rule set, and consider a lot of the options we have for what action we take in a round and what the ev is for that action, even more complexity, lol

You're welcome. You're allowed to mention who the "someone" was. Some people know who I am! :)
