Greetings,
Does anyone in addition to keeping track of the card tags, i.e., Hi-lo … +1, 0, -1 also keep a count of each individual card count as they are dealt out?
Example 4-decks=208 cards.
3 players at the table plus dealers up card so now the double count is 196 (not counting burn card unless it is a known or seen)
Player one receives 3, 7, player two dealt K, 5, player three dealt 2,2, and dealer’s up card is 10. Running count is now +2 with 196 cards remaining in shoe and so on and so on.
I find it easier to have and know the exact number of cards in order to multiply for true count conversions. I had issues with deck estimation and the whole true count conversion that came with it. Granted it has been painful to learn and put into practice but it feels quite natural now.
My question is… does anyone else double count and do they find ease and success in using it?
