Casino Control Commission Booths All Empty

Just thought I'd mention that on my last trip to AC no CCC booths at any casino were manned. The CCC is basically being shut down.

The game isn't being deregulated, just the CCC is being shut down and their duties assigned to a state gaming enforcement agency. Those CCC guys in the booths were useless anyway.

I found them quite useful in one situation. I was in the process of getting totally screwed by a Sands slot supervisor until I got the CCC guy involved.
Once he showed up, and I started to explain my side of the story, the Sands guy completely backed down, paid me what I thought I was owed and offered me a couple of buffet comps.

I twice had dealings with the NJ CCC

Once they went to bat for me when I claimed that the cashier at a casino had short-changed me out of thousands of dollars.

They had the tapes run and I was quickly reimbursed the thousands of bux that the Evil Empire had swiped.

The first time was when Trump Plaza offered me "UNWASHED" cards to play back in the 1980's.

I had waited too long and had not recalled the precise table BUT I was told that if I had acted sonerr the casino would have been fined $10,000.
