I'm going there tonight and only staying one day for snowboarding. Before I go snowboarding though I thought it would be cool to check out any cheap blackjack they might have. Anybody know of the casinos around in that area? Or anywhere inbetween St. Louis and Dubuque? I'm also intoerested in video poker as well :-D

Quad cities has a couple. If you are going from Dub. to St. Louis you will probably pass right through there. There is also a casino in Clinton up by Dubuque, but I have never been to that one.

Dubuque has the racetrack and Diamond Jo's.

Supposedly Diamond Jo's has a decent double deck game with good pen. Although I think I heard they changed to no double after split. I haven't been there myself though.

Last time I checked all the 3:2 BJ at Diamond Jo's was 6 deck and BAD pen to go along with "stuffy" floor people.
Mystique (racetrack) has all 6 deck with borderline pen and not good rules but very nice employees.
You won't see any APs making a living in these two places.
