do casinos under different ownerships share information about the players? recently, i was at the cafe at red rock station and saw a pit critter at suncoast with the pit critters at red rock station. they were dressed in business attire and looked like they could've been in a meeting (... at a cafe?).

it would explain why a particular place i went to backed me off within 20 minutes, the first time i ever went there or any of its properties.

Yes. The principal method would be the SIN or Surveillance Information Network. That's how most faxed "flyers" make the rounds of Vegas.

As far as I know, the flyers don't indicate which casino the information originated in. That seems like a pretty damning indication that they know what they are doing isn't acceptable for privacy policy and other reasons.

Anyone with recent experience with this process feel free to correct me or elaborate.

Ken do you know if foxwood and mohegan share information? Also i know foxwoods and mgm are different places and dont really seem to like each other do they share information? I have heard yes and no but i almost want to assume they would even share a survailance room or two. Just thought I would get a more believeable answer from you.

There may be an alternative explanation - that the casinos don't want to get sued by other casinos if the information they give is erroneous. Grosjean's detention by IP is a prime example - IP tried to pin the whole thing on Harrah's with the "well they told us so" excuse.
