CBJN Abbreviations

I bought my first copy of CBJN and some of the abbreviations in the "comments (#10) Column baffle me. 1. What does "Is, 6" following h17 mean? (Alamo Reno)
2. What does "nms" mean following h17? Terrible's Rail City Sparks
I am assuming that h17 means the dealer hits a soft 17.

Thank you.

I'll take a stab at nms as meaning "no mid shoe" as in no mid-shoe entry.

A legend to all the abbreviations is on the last page of each issue.
LS = late surrender
6 = Player’s six-card unbusted hand wins automatically, even if the dealer has 10 up and ace in hole

6,,,6 deck, 6 spots?? Got me.

In my rush ti leave for Reno tomorrow, I didn't look all the way to the end. After all, there's only 2 pages I care about. I thought!

ls=late surrended
6=6card charlie
Than you all for helping the feeble minded, anxiety ridden procrastinator
