Ok so i decided for myself after visiting the site that the cipher deal can't be for real. I have always been told and believe myself that if it sounds too good to be true than it is. If this program is so good why would you need to sell it?? Why not take out a loan for X amount of dollars, use your program betting maxs at the table, pay the loan back, and then make yourself rich?? I don't get it.

I also noticed a few other things while there:

1. Cipher states that "I’ve lost count as to how many people are using the Cipher program....but there are better than 1,200 users.....now." Does this mean he can't count to 1,200??

2. Also stated is a comment he hears over and over that starts "I'm ruined...." I think these are the 2 key words in the statement.

That is a horrible code to live by. You will miss out on many great opportunities. When I find something that sounds too good to be true that's when I pounce. Basically that's what I depend for my livelyhood. I Just keep waiting for that big break. I don't think life is made by grinding it out but is made on a coulple of big "seems too good to be sure" plays. Sure you should be skeptical but too much and living by codes is bad. Think about it. 90% of everything we say and do is meaningless. I make my living on counting on not missing the 10% that does. Living by your code virtually makes your life 100% meaningless.

Just kidding. But supercoolmancool is right. Be skeptical because most of the time that addage is right, but when it is wrong, then you have yourself an amazing situation for yourself. So keep your eyes out for "too good to be true" oppurtunities, and hopefully you will find one that really as good as it looks.

However, in this example, it sounds good, and is complete trash. Good eye!

It means he's not reporting his ill-gotten gains to the IRS. They can count to $1,200,000.

alright so maybe you guys are right - it gives me something to think about. if i come about a too good to be true opportunity i will just have to look into it closer to decide for myself.

but i have a question : if you go to the ciper....website have you ever looked closely at the screenshot of the program?? on the casino side of it towards the bottom it says "this is a perfect example of a readable stand". now look at the hands on the table you would have been holding 10 9 vs dealer Q 4. Um i don't know about all of you but I don't need a $1000 computer program to tell me this.

Also if you count the number of green blocks (wins) vs red block (losses, pushes) i come up with green 14 vs red 15. I think I will continue to learn counting and stick at the casino because I could do that on my own.

As much as i agree with your assessment of Cipher's system (more than anything else, when challanged the man openly admitted that he could not give a mathematical proof for why his system would even work), remember that the player is always going to lose more hands than they win. Even counters lose the majority of their hands, it's just that they know which hands they are more likely to win.
And in honesty, i'd go with your initial thinking with a slight modification. If it seems to good to be true, it usually is.
Every oppertunity comes at a price and that price is usually effort. If you find a flaw in a promotion it may seem like easy money, but remember that before you did all the study and learned what you've learned you wouldn't have noticed the flaw. You put the effort in before the 'to good to be true' offer came along, but you still had to put it in at some point.
Cipher's system is the classic scam. Offer what everyone wants - a free ticket. Every phonie system has always relied on lazy people who don't want to put in any effort to make it work. So he offers to do all that work for you and just hand you the key to the vault.......for a small fee.
I'm glad that one more person has seen his system for the fool gold that it is.

There is no business. Alexa shows it's ranking as 1,993,295 with traffic too low to measure. His only traffic is us.

Funny thing...Cipher posted on his website about how his system will work for BJ tournaments, both online and live. I pointed out more than a few reasons why that claim is absurd (using a computer at the BJ table?!) so he deleted the entire thread from his website. That was the same thread where he banned me from his site for no good reason. I guess the truth really does hurt. Apparently it doesn't matter if we visit his site or not, he'll just delete everything that makes him look like the crook that he is.

Yes.. but you see... visiting his page (posting or not) requires his server to serve you a copy of the site-- which requires bandwidth-- which costs him money. {nudge nudge}

Not that I'd ever condone something as evil as a denial of service attack. But if you need to visit his page every few minutes to-- ah-- reference some material-- and so do a few thousand other people-- well, they're all just potential customers looking for info, non?

Cipher is nothing but utter non-sense. He makes small bets and then large bets in frequently such that it looks like it is making money in the short term when it really wasn't. As I said last time I analysied all his sessions the he posted videos on and the luck factor was over 70% because he had only made just 48 $500 bets and was lucky enough to win most of them. Basically out of all those videos he has posted all he has really done is played 48 hands and ended up by about 7 units. Big deal. By the way he plays he would have to play about 100 times longer than what he has posted for any statisically meaningful assigment to be made. Mathematical you can't analysise his strategy because it is completely guess work as you can see if you watch his videos (splitting tens and partial down downs and other such nonsense). 1200 people must be crying themselves to sleep having been burn't over this crap.
