CIVIL ASSET FORFEITURE as a traveling AP

Hello everyone,
I have been thinking of hitting the road to travel and play BJ. Was wondering how some of the traveling AP's out there have dealt with avoiding civil asset forfeiture.
In case anyone doesn't know, civil asset forfeiture is the process of seizing someone's money or property when the police believe that the money or property is related to a crime. The person who is having their assets forfeited does not necessarily have to be convicted or even charged with a crime and if you want to get your money back it's going to cost thousands of dollars in lawyer fees and it could take YEARS so the goal is to not have it forfeited in the first place.
Some common tactics police will use to search cars is to make up a bogus reason for the stop, they didn't use a turn signal, they were swerving, they were speeding, etc. From there they will say they smell Cannabis and search your car.
Again, what do we do about this as traveling AP's considering we're going to be prime target for police officers considering they like to pull over out of state license plates and don't care if the money is related to a drugs or not since their department gets 80-100% of the money forfeited. How do we protect ourselves?

It will easily hold 30K and with a little effort will hold 40K. It's locked and the cable secures it to a metal post. I also have a letter from an attorney stating I'm a professional gambler and carry cash for my business. If a cop does do an illegal search or uses a bogus dog signal to justify one, if something is locked within your car, he still can't open it without a warrant from a judge.

Drive the speed limit and/or have a radar detector.

Avoid interstates in the southwest in states that border Mexico..

Regarding dogman's comment about constitutional rights, civil asset forfeiture has voided them.

I read the reviews on this lock box. Definitely a winner if you're determined to lose your bankroll without trying. The real workaround is to find a casino that accepts crypto currencies.

Put it in your SHOES holy shit. Its not rocket science people. Regardless if they railroad you, violate your rights, and search your car, they wont find anything in there because it will be in your shoes. The cops when they frisk you also NEVER ask you to take your shoes off because that would constitute an illegal frisk and much harder to get away with and railroad you because they cant use the excuse of probable cause or smelling weed etc. Only way they can get you to take your shoes off is if they bring you back to the police station, but for that to happen you have to either be non compliant, smart ass, etc. Cops are egotistical prideful people. Let them win the battle of the egos. Always be nice and respectful when dealing with them and calmy assert your rights when you have to.

what is to stop a cop from snatching your safe & key as well?

The key is in my head. This box/mini-safe a four thumbwheel combination lock, 0-9. The cop can confiscate the box, but he can't open it and a judge will order its return in absence of a crime or probable cause. Pulling someone over for a supposed traffic infraction isn't probable cause.

Question: What is to stop a cop from saying your lock and key are evidence in possible criminal activity? If they don't need a warrant to seize cash and other private/personal property, what is to stop a cop from snatching your safe & key as well?

There have been scenarios in which cops demand a lock box to be opened and if the driver doesn't comply they will smash it open. This video shows a perfect instance in which that exact scenario happened:

If they confiscated your box then it has already gone too far. You can win in court all you want but it's going to take thousands of dollars and potentially even years. In fact, the most common amount of money forfeited is 2k or less precisely because it will cost more in lawyer fees to get it back then the money's worth. Even amounts like 10k might not even be worth the time.

Im still waiting to hear how they will steal the money from my shoes, but everyone ignores the kings advice. Im honestly too smart for this society. I think so outside the box, people cant even comprehend where im coming from.

Anything CAN happen with a crooked cop, however, you should do what minimizes your likelihood of something bad happening.
