Ken Uston...Million Dollar Blackjack...HC info source

The late Ken Uston's Million Dollar Blackjack is an excellent source of information on many of the technical aspects of Hole Carding. There is more to this game than just knowing how to play the hands and to it right requires quite a bit of practice. It's not like the dealer exposes the whole hole card. I would guess that most card counters have it in their library, collecting dust. Uston was a classic in every way and his books are great reading.

Read it for the first time 20 years ago. Thats the one that spurred me on to begin playing blackjack. My all time favorite. Great for stories and tech. things

Ken Uston's, One Third of a Shoe and The Big Player are other great reads about his table exploits.

The single best HC source is THE Book!
(But that only amounts to a dozen or so pages, I think) zg

"THE Book" :0) recommends "Million Dollar Blackjack" under "Preparation". Grosjean's work in Part VI "Spotters" on the subject is excellent, but not in wide circulation obviously. HC is not an easy task and is meant for younger eyes than mine. Always on the lookout for sloppy dealers anyway, just to make life interesting.
