CVData MultiSim Question

I continue to learn about CVData - what a tool!

I was playing with the Multi-Sim facility tonight which allows one to vary up to 4 rules, and run a new sim with each rule change. One of the rules that can be varied is "Max Bet in Units." I wonder how this works with the betting strategy?

For example if I select my betting strategy to be "1-15 Spread" and I set my Max Bet in Units to be 1 to 10 step 5, what parameters are used? Is this a nonsensical configuration because my Max Bet is less than my spread?

Do I have to set Max Bet in Units to be greater than my spread? For example, with a 1-15 Spread, do I set Max Bet in Units to be 15 to 30 step 15, and this gives me 2 sims, one with a 1-15 unit spread and one with a 2-30 unit spread?

Actually, this modifies a parameter that I long ago removed because I didn't think it useful. It changes the table limit, thereby chopping off the top of a spread.

The function should still work. I just don't use it. I normally use CVCX for that. Or with CVData, I just run multiple sims changing the betting strategy using the modify button on the Betting screen.

Is it possible to combine the multi-sim and batch features? For example can I run a batch that contains 6 and 8 deck configurations, and then for each configuration have the multi-sim feature vary penetration?

I have a "multi-strategy" betting strategy, and I'd like to see how it performs across various penetrations and shoe sizes.

Woof. I don't think so. You're talking about hundreds of different strategies in one run. These are quite different features, I don't think they would work in concert.

I was thinking it would be ~7 sims. I would run the 6D at 4, 4.5, and 5 deck penetrations; and the 8D and 5.5, 6, 6.5, and 7 decks.

I know I can do this by defining a batch run with 7 configurations, one each corresponding to the above (a project for a future weekend). If the multi-sim worked in conjunction with batch facility then I could really go crazy with some granular sims. After all, my computer needs something to do at night while I sleep! ;)
