CVDATA - true count distributions

Hi everyone,
i am trying to create simulations for the various playing conditions that i am facing at the moment, and also want to assess the effectiveness of various betting strategies.
However i seem to be having problems with my CVData because the true count distributions that are coming out, differ significantly from the true count distributions on the CVCX online viewer site, and also from the simulations that I had run last year.

When I ran simulations today i got some results that just seem wrong, e.g. true count distribution for 6D, 79%pen.

+6 0.03%
+5 0.13%
+4 0.51%
+3 1.78%
+2 5.83%
+1 18.94%
0 46.47%
-1 18.51%
-2 5.53%
-3 1.64%
-4 0.46%
-5 0.12%
-6 0.03%

i chose the following TC calculation settings:
deck estimation resolution - half deck
TC divisor - cards dealt
TC division - truncate
deck estimate - truncate
count recalculation - (all checked)

Can QFIT or anyone else shed any light on what i might be doing wrong to get this data? Any contribution would be greatly appreciated :)

The parameters you mentioned have a very large impact on TC frequencies. The CVCXOnline frequencies were based on my evaluation of how the original authors generated their indexes and is different for each strategy. The CVCX V4 sims are standardized on flooring.

One thing, deck estimate should be changed to round.

thanks for your help so far on this QFIT!

looking at it further, i think i must have introduced an error through the playing strategy that i designed and used for the exercise.

Tell me, on CVCX when the 'two hands' option is ticked, will the software assume that two hands are played through all counts. is it possible to mirror the CVD functionality where it's possible to stipulate number of hands to be played at each TC level?

e.g. 1 hand at +1 and below, 2 hands at +2 and above.

CVCX can estimate the effect of changing number of hands if the strategy is balanced and uses flooring or truncation. Just set the spinner to the right of the two hands option to the count where you switch to two hands.
