The dealer was showing a 6 and no one at the table hit. He had an ace in the hole, and then hit twice and drew to 21. This was in Pennsylvania where standing on 17 is required. I'm the only one who noticed it and ask for the pit boss. While I had a stiff and would have lost anyway, the pit boss allows the hand to be replayed since no one took a hit. The dealer's hand was known to be a soft 17, but we were given the option to pull our bet back. Everyone who had less than 17 did that, which made for a happy resolution.
What was startling was that no one else noticed that the dealer hit soft 17.
