Do Dealers tell their Supervisors everything ?

I'm practically a regular at an indian casino in New York...that high rolls blackjack.

I'm there usually 2 times a week.

I'm currently on a 15 straight session winning streak.

Lately i've seen more supervisors in the pit , checking me out & staring hardcore.

Is it possible, since i'm such a regular..and on a good winning streak...that everything I tell the Dealer, gets relayed to his or her supervisor ? personal stuff too , or just blackjack strategy stuff ?

It makes me wonder.

Also, is it possible they could stick a GPS tracking device on our vehicle , to prepare for when we come ? They always seem so prepared whenever I get there now. Like they knew I was coming a long time ago. It may seem a bit overly paranoid, but I guess you have to be sometimes in this type of business.

Which place are we talking about? If it's the one I'm thinking of they are very resentful of talented players....I've got stories from years back. I'm no longer welcome there nor do I ever wish to go back. There first tactic is half - two thirds shoeing you. If you haven't had that happen yet you are just being paranoid however it won't be long if you're a winner. They even have house players. Not a good venue...JtMM:cool:

Yes if it's THAT place, there is a playable high roller game there with a unique layout but it's not the kind of place worth being a "regular" at. Very unpleasant environment, rules bent on certain games, reports of difficulty cashing out at times. It's also a hell of a long drive- no reason for anyone who lives more than an hour from the place to go there and not to Pennsylvania now.

They probably just want you like all the hot babe dealers do. Just give them your phone number and tell them to call you sometime.

Do you get all the attention because you are the big action?

Dealers and pits have to keep a closer eye on big players and are under scrutiny of their supervisors. The dealers there will be asked questions about you and they better have answers. The pit may get in trouble should an AP tear it up and he hasn't a clue about bet and play variations. Should you leave without coloring up, the dealer better know what you left with. It is also hard to rat hole in the HL room. not many playing there for any cover.

It is so easy to get tapped for winning too much. The pit can see it on the screen and call. Then the word comes down without a count down or check on your betting patterns. Some places will review tapes with talented surveillance and check your bet variations with the count and BS deviations.
Then a decision is renderred.

Any of you speak Spanish or another foreign language? I don't.

I've had floormen speak with dealers in Spanish in Vagas. They were laughing, probably talking about their kids or what they they had for dinner.

If that, or anything for that matter, makes me feel suspicious, I'm out of there.

Anybody here had something like this happen who knows Spanish and knew what they were saying?

You sound like you have first hand experience, or possibly insider info ? Everything you said makes complete sense though.

I been getting a ton of heat on my last couple visits.

1) So dealers basically won't unload our entire conversations to their higher ups....just whatever is asked of them ?

2) they say that casinos aren't allowed to collaborate with other casinos in the area to find out about a player & his play style....wins / losses , etc.. But I feel like they do know about the other places I go to as well. How possible do you feel it is, that they do collaborate with each other....whether its sneakily being done behind the scenes or not ?

I appreciate it much.... if PM is preferred, feel free.

I'm sure planting a GPS device would be illegal and the casino would lose a lot more in a lawsuit than they would lose to 99.9% of the card counters. That's invasion of privacy. It's just as effective and completely legal to install a license plate scanner in the parking lot and then alert the pit when the vehicle of a suspected counter parks in the lot.

There is this dealer who seems to recognize me at the casino I play. He figured that I count cards the first time I played with him, and then he moved the cut card to cut half a deck and told me that he knew I was counting. I tipped him $25 after that session. Whenever I play with him he cuts out half a deck and I tip him more than I tip other dealers. So far still no heat from the pit despite spreading from 10-2x75.

Dealer ratting

The dealers in the HL room need to remember most everything and since they don't have too many to remember, it is fairly easy. The HL room dealers are supposed to be more educated in detecting an AP. If they are pretty good at it and can really give their supervisors the right info they will because:
1. It help their job security.
2. Gets them a better position or keeps them moving up.
3. Helps the Pit, who then will help the dealer by with good praise to supervisors.

Dealers who give bad info and then surveillance runs the tape and finds they are wrong, get bashed at meetings. It is easier for a dealer on the main floor to just be friendly and do their time. They don't count, don't want to count, have enough not making mistakes and keeping their busy games in a good flow. I always ask how long they have been dealing. They all tell their story.
Most times on the main floor the pit will look in, but never count and check you betting patterns. Getting them in the discussion about what to do on some splits or soft hands is fun. You have dealers and pits who don't know BS perfect. Some pits have "cheater cards" and will pull them to answer a question.
Indian Casinos will share info.

Winning fifteen straight sessions is enough to call suspicion on yourself. If you have a player's card, it's a no-brainer. At the very least, they have you ID'ed as a winner and possible cheater/counter. If you do not use a card, by now (considering that you play twice a week) they have surely nicknamed you and have a card on record for you. Have you ever had to show ID, such as, to cash in chips at the cashier? In that way they could get your real name.

Casinos do not need to know you are doing something to treat you like a counter or cheater. Believe it or not, they just don't like winners! :eek:

Casino sharing

Indian casinos share with each other. You have to be at a certain level to qualify for such an honor, but it should be up there and be solid information.
Vegas has sharing, but even stores owned by the same don't share everything. You could get tapped at one Coast casino and still go to another Boyd store with no problem. Same with MGM, but if it were high scale and have solid info, they might share at all of them.
if you are winning 50, 100 or even 200 and have won often, it should be easy to rat hole and show a loss often enough to never worry.

Keep winning and be creative.
