Doubling for less

A local casino has a foolish rule where if you double for less, it still must be at least the TABLE minimum. Meaning you cannot double for less if you bet the minimum in the first place.

Has anybody else encountered this?

It's fine for cheap cover in selected circumstances. I have no idea how effective the cover is.

I know of at least one maybe two joints in my neck of the woods that do that also.

For effective cover, try doubling for MORE.

Of course it is. That's why it is a foolish rule, the casino is saying YOU MUST bet more when you have an advantage. :grin:
