El Cortez is amazing, but risky

I went in Cortez, played the double deck out of the shoe. I started at 1 x $10 and went to 2 x $40. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Threw some cover, toked dollars, looking around, chit chatting, and the floor didn't even come to the game. I walked with $220, $180 up. It helped that it was the party pit with the hot woman( or some hot woman, some are dog ugly) so he was checking out all the ass..

If you used cover and toked dollars on Dbl deck spreading 1-8 over a 10min span you likely did not have any advantage or very slight. Variance can giveth as quickly as she taketh away.

Maybe , I am new at this side. We will see how it goes. I had a good positive count, true +5. How many times when the count is positive do you win? the percentages have to be in your favor for overall win?

Mr. M,
Are you serious? A party pit at th Spaniard? Any confirmation on this...
They have signs up - Friday and Saturdays there is a party pit - but I will not be around for it, so that's all I know!

Confirmed. They even opened it up last Thursday, presumably due to the March Madness crowd. Understand that you will not find any talent behind the table comparable to the lovely dame in the poster above. In fact, my assessment of the El Co's party pit is they approach it in the opposite manner of the other downtown establishments. Others recruit hot girls to work their mediocre games, while the El Co recruits mediocre girls to work their hot games :)

Vixens at the EC. Who'd have thunk?
No kidding! Party pits are starting to show up all over the downtown, Binions, Vegas Club and the Plaza now also have them. I've never seen a party pit outside of Vegas come to think about it. I wonder how long that will be now with the poor economy and casinos getting desperate for something new!

From what people describe, it seems like downtown is missing the point of the party pit. The point is to bring in girls that are hotter than the average dealer to attract people that wouldn't otherwise play. Dressing up regular dealers in Pussycat Dolls outfits neither brings in more customers nor encourages existing customers to the party pit.
