I was in a local Racino tonight were they do not allow live dealers and ran across this Electro Mechanical Black Jack Machine that is what the PC called it.

Looked like it was 8 deck pen was 75% not sure what the rules were but it was no peek, the cards appeared to have a smart chip on them pretty weird the PC said it was the only one in the US.

These are now popping up in all the Native American casinos in Arizona (as well as the roulette machines by the same manufacturer), and I have been playing on one and counting for several weeks and from what I have learned, the machine is programmed to detect considerable bet increases when the count is high. It will automatically stop and reshuffle before dealing the next hand if this is detected.

I have been winning on the machine considerably (+$745 over the past month), and thought I may be on to something, but now realize it was simply luck and proper strategy on my part.

Should have known you can't beat a computer!!!

I think it is also a 6 deck shoe.

What he said.. I've seen these in local AZ casinos and honestly have never had any interest in playing them. I don't like playing any kind of digital games as one accidental slip of a finger can cause you to click on something and mess you up.

I think they are as beatable as any table that uses a continuous shuffling machine. I have been winning because I play correctly mixed with a little luck. I'm now convinced that counting had nothing to do with my recent success on this machine. Maybe just beginners luck?

But they are not 'continuous' CSM, right? Anyone? zg
