Even on small stakes tables

I played 3 3 hours sessions in Colorado and was happy to bring in $250 total.

I went back and pumped up the betting spreading to 3-4-5-6- and 7 spots whenever I could but lost all my winnings.

I was hoping to replicate some of my winning streaks I have had in the past.

I think I will save the money for a place like Nevada where I can get better play.

Even head to head in Colorado with $5 limit tables while you can get $35 on the board for one hand you are burning up so many cards it becomes a really tough road to how.

Using the kelly criterion system I would think a person with a $1,000 bank roll using $3-$5 as a betting unit should fare well after 20 hours in Nevada, at least have a 65% chance of coming out ahead.
 
I heard last year that they were trying, but I haven't seen any results yet.

I haven't found any threads or discussions on CO limited stakes and related betting strategies here (other than this one) - are there any floating around on teh interwebz?

I haven't seen any. The problem is that with a $5 max bet on each hand, the most you can get on the table is $30-$35 per round. That's a very small spread and even smaller profits (if any). Even if you could find a way to get a huge advantage it still wouldn't add up to much money. :(

I figured that the limit killed most chances to make any serious money.

How are you even getting $35 on the table?

I've totally forgotten, is it up to three hands per spot or four?

I had to quit going to Black Hawk because I was so frustrated.

Maybe a good spot for counting practice, but the differences in betting might just screw my head up anyway.
 
I have loaded the table in Blackhawk on the triple tables, I forgot what you call them but it is 7x3x5=105 and in a lucky half hour you can bring in a quick 300 but it does not happen too often and you have to get there right at 9 in the morning.

I haven't got them to let me play more than 2 places at the table, but I've been there during more active times.
 
Century in Central C. lets you bet the table if available. Try the other place in CC for double deck, limit 2-3 spots but only a 3 min.

We should touch base some time, ever hit New Mexico, Espanola?

I haven't.

My folks swing through from time to time, but they're usually coming up to see me in Boulder when they do.

What full-stakes casino is closest to Denver?

Maybe the Indian Casinos near Durango???
