Sure. bet spreads using cardcounting, shuffle tracking, or anything to give you a probable knowledge of the next card.
I've got a winning system for Licentia. Place entire life savings + as much as you can borrow betting banker on one hand of Baccarat. (If it is a push, bet again). You get one lifetime bet. 50.7% of the people who follow my system will think I'm a sound financial advisor while 49.3% are broke. The majority will declare my system a winner! Say I need a 2/3rds majority? No Problem. Place entire life savings one time laying the 10 on the craps table and I'll sell you a system that has nearly a 50% return! If two thirds of people who try it say it worked for them it must be a winner! Democracy 1 Mathematics 0.

I'm just trying to demonstrate that while any betting system (a system relying solely on adjusting betsize in a random game that has a house edge and a defined table limit) can have short term success, it will not withstand a billion hand simulation. Even a 1million hand simulation is doubtful to me.

Because you won't do it STARTING NOW, and must get to a certain win before counting, makes me believe you won't ever be able to do it. That is, you won't ever be able to be a strict counter.

It's just like a gambler saying they will quit and never gamble again after they get back to even, but it never happens. If you can't do it NOW, what's going to change in the future.

But if you do count cards, using this idea may increase your profits. You will always bet higher when you have a winning session.

i need to keep a list of all the people who "dont get it" on this forum, because sometimes i forget, and get into an argument with somebody, only to realize that they absolutely dont get it, and i didnt need to waste my time, i could just ignore them or laugh.. *writes down licentia*.. also, who is more foolish, the people who refuse to try and learn about blackjack and just go about their ploppy ways, or the people who join a forum filled with APs (or read a book) and totally dismiss everything.. the former would be trying to lead a horse to water, but the latter would be the horse drinking the water, and then walking away telling you its not water

Yes, this strategy won't work. Now forget it. My other strategy that I posted yesterday does work.
