Funny thing overheard at $1 BJ table

A ploppy asked for a drink, but the waitress told him "Sorry, we don't serve drinks at the $1 table". LMAO, if I was the casino, I'd be handing out Cristal and Johnny Walker blue label to these guys.

Seriously, four hands should be more than enough to cover the cost of a beer at the $1 table.

At the local indian stores here no drinks are complementary unless you are in the high limit room playing slots.

You can't even get JWB betting 2x$300 at The Venetian! Believe me, I've tried!

That is pretty rough though... aren't they anteing $.25 a hand? That would definitely cover a beer after, idk, 4 hands?

Yep, $.25 ante. I know some places that have JWB in the VIP room for free. As tempting as one would be, can't do it while counting, whiskey goes straight to the brain for me. Ah that's good stuff.

When it comes to comped drinks while playing — The Evil Empire distinguishes between players holding a Diamond Card and those that don't.

I do not drink while playing — but I frequently flash the C.W. my Diamond Card and get a ploppy a good imported beer or a JWB or whatever.

Is that a joke? $23 for the continent's cheapest whiskey?

Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has long failed to give free liquor drinks to players (unless you are in the high roller room.) After all, they only made a billion dollars last year!
