Ah. I see.Friendo said:No idea, but probably not.
Just having fun with the way that, no matter what city, region, or casino you're talking about here, somebody has said that that it sucks.
The problem is I'm a redchipper.tallmanvegas said:Will be back there too, there are good double deck games on the strip, just gotta be willing lay down the cash:grin:

Thanks.shadroch said:Flash will be along soon to tell you you are wasting your time, but don't be discouraged. Trop has a good signup bonus but it involves playing slots. Its even better if you plan on making a second trip.
No. BTW I am going there to attend a BJ seminar. Will you have a car?

Thanks for the info man.kewljason said:Downtown sucks.....Yes! Strip sucks....someplaces, but there are many playable games. Especially the lower end where you are staying. Concentrate on MGM properties, which other than Trop is basically all there is down there...:laugh
If you decide you must experience downtown and being thrown out of EC (you won't be thrown out btw, just backed off) take the airport express bus which you can catch on Tropicana Road, on the side of the Trop, rather than the Duece or downtown express buses which run up and down the strip. The Airport express is much faster, less crowded and cheaper.![]()

Damn Sagefrog!!!!! Haven't seen him in a while.....Sumbitch probably snuck back to vegas and was camping out at the EC....:laugh:Lonesome Gambler said:1-5 on DD is not worth it, even in the two good downtown red chip games. By the way, I heard they're flat-betting nickel players at EC now! A new approach to diplomacy, I suppose (and faster than a backoff).
If you can't afford 1-5 on DD downtown (which will probably be a moot point anyway, given your lack of transportation), you may as well forget about the south Strip properties. Like KJ says, there are reasonably-playable games there, but expect to see $5 minimums only around, say, 6am on a Wednesday. There are exceptions, which you'll find, but I would focus on getting more money in that bankroll first.
