Good books? KISS, KO, and HILO

After starting with HILO and practicing for a while, as ZG suggested, I have begun practicing with KISS 3 instead because I find it a bit easier to stay with generally positive counts and also avoiding having to make RC to TC conversions.

Since I don't know which method I will end up using I just ordered BJ Bluebook II, KO BJ, and Wong's book. Are there any others that people recommend (or will that keep me plenty busy for a while <vbg>).

Until they get here in 3-5 business days can anyone give me a general idea about a couple of things.

I know to start at +9 for the 6D game I have been practicing and to up the bet at +20. But, how much and how quickly do I increase it. I had a +40 at one point in a practice game.

I think you'll be pleaewd with BB II for the best reason of all-the author frequents this site, and is VERY quick to answer questions! (And it made things easier for me to understand). Other than that, I think you'll hear a lot of people recommending Snyder's book, Blackbelt in Blackjack, so you might as well pick it up as well.

If I had to recommend just one blackjack book in the whole world to someone it would without a doubt be Blackjack Bluebook II by Fred Renzey.
I use the Kiss III count and it works like a charm. As you stated increase the bet to 3 units when the count reaches 20 in a 6 deck game. Bet 5 units when the count is at 21,bet 8 units when the count is 22, and 10 units when the count is 23 or higher. The book also covers some things other than card counting. There is the Doctor Pepper Rule and the Rule of 45, also there's information on how to just look at a layout and appreciate and benefit from what you're viewing. The book is certainly worth its' weight in gold.

Try KO with an IRC adjusted to zero and you will rarely deal with negative numbers. Be sure to adjust the indexes and bet triggers too though!

Books I am looking to get include:

Poking Surveilance in the Eye (improve my cover play ability)

Comp City (maximize/increase my comps)
