I don't know...personally, I like to watch him play. All the chatter and can still keep count, monitor everyone's chipstack and make good decisions in betting in tournament play! He's definitely one of the premiere players.manray said:

Oh there is no doubt about the caliber of his play. It just seems like he's such an ass as a player. As a dealer - like his interviews - he seems like a really nice guy.

Dave is I believe, working the system. He has developed a TV personality deliberately and it's working for him! Can't say what it would be like playing at his table with him as a player but I would think you would have to be ready to deal with the constant banter <LOL> Do keep in mind that Dave is a tournament player. When seen on the WSOBJ and other featured presentations, he is playing against other players. Quite different than playing at a cash table like we play. Any advantage he can get is a good one!
