wasup fellaz I'm new to this forum but have been reading it for a little while.

I am a dealer at a casino but I won't say which one. I'm also a player and count as well.

So far I've been able to use high/low for 6 deck games and recently just tried high opt ii for double deck. It has worked very well. The casino I play at has double after splitting, double on any two cards, and 80% penetration, no surrender, hit soft 17.

At work I get to practice counting shoe games, so if u have any questions about the inside stuff ask away, thanks

welcome my friend. i'm sure you will learn plenty from these boards as i have in a short period of time. you have the great opportunity to practice your counting alot without having to risk any money.

first question: what's the best way to encourage deeper pen from a dealer?

i'd also be interested to hear what you decide your spread & cover is going to be once you become a proficient counter.

encourage pen? maybe put out a toke for the dealer the first hand you play at the table, or if u have good radar or not, see if the dealer is slow or dumb then sometimes they cut it thin foro you, make sure no pb is around or you could say "can you cut it thin so just in case I have a good run/flow I can keep it going?"

or if you happen to play at my table I usually just cut it thin to about 90% penetration ;) just for the counters lol since I am one.

btw my table is 6 deck, no surrender, hit soft 17, split 3 times, double on all splits, split aces once one card each.

The pitboss doesnt really look at the penetration where I am lol.
