Hope this helps

Ok guys, here's one for you that has worked very, very well for me. Call it luck, dispute the mathematics, who cares. All I can tell you is that I haven't had to work a real job for almost 2 years now.
I start with a $1000 bankroll. I bet $5, lose bet $10, lose bet $25, lose bet $50. If I lose the $50 dollar bet, I start over. If I win any of those 4 bets, I go back to $5. I play this way until I am $60 ahead. Then I flat bet $5 until I lose 2 in a row. After I lose 2 in a row I bet $50. If I lose it, I start over. If I win, I repeat the proccess.
I play this way until I'm $300 ahead, then I raise my minimum bet to $10 and my max bet to $100. My new goal is $410. If I lose 4 in a row before I get there I drop my bet back down to $5 and work my way back up to $300. But if I get to $410 without losing, then I flat bet $5 till I lose 2 in a row, then I bet $100. I play this way until I reach $710, then I raise my minimum bet to $20 and my max bet to $200..... and so on and so forth.
Remember 1,2,5,10.
I start off with a $1000 bankroll to insure that I don't get behind right out of the gate. If I lose a progression before I win my first $100, then I'll raise my minimum betting unit to $50 and play that way until I'm back to where I started. I know that's nuts, but hey it's only failed me twice and that's just how I roll.:joker:

Oh and by the way I don't exactly play basic strategy until I'm up $500. If I get 8's against a 7 or higher I simply hit. I treat A's as 2's, and I'll only double down on a small bet if it's an 11 against a 5 or 6.

16 in a row

This is a remarkable system that works great--- All the way up until the time you lose 16 in a row, then win 1 hand, then lose 16 more in a row, etc. This sort of thing (negative progression) has a way of catching up to you eventually, only a matter of time. It will work in the very short term if you only play once a year for a few hours with just a little luck.

Casinos love progression bettors since they know it's all coming back to them and THEN some eventually.

Yeah Myself... I usually try and find a $1 table, bet the minimum.. and if I lose, keep doubling until I win.

If I lose 21 hands in row then I'll walk out. It's only happened once in my lifetime in 10 years... every other time I've won. The one time my loss did occur...the casino was kind enough to raise it's maximum table limit to $550,000 to let me carry out my last bet for my 21st hand using the Martingale approach.

I've walked out of the casino 2488 times a winner with this system and only lost 1 time.. so how can people say that progression systems don't work!!

So you bet $550K on a hand of blackjack? And when you lost (the one time) how much did you leave behind?

Starting by betting $1 and doubling after every loss?....After nine losses in a row, the bet is $512- to win a dollar?...Am I missing something here?

Yea. He was down $550,000, bet it one last time, won, and ended up $1 ahead. The system works!

I noticed about a month back that one of your members replied to my post and said that he was testing it. What happened to his reply? I'd love to know what his results were. I'm also beginning to wonder if you guys are giving sound advise here or just trying to sell books.

I'm not trying to sound overly aggressive, but while some posters have only tried to "promote systems" or "sell books", they are usually debunked rather quickly, and I have found that almost all of the experienced players here give sound advice. And the level of intelligence on this board is such that even if an experienced player gives poor advice, it is usually debated until the correct result is obtained.

It's indeed important to take everything with a grain of salt, but hopefully you'll soon realize there are many posters here giving sound advice.
